New Signs has been owned and operated by Mark Dobson since 1993.

John and Linda Dobson, Mark's parents, joined him in ownership in 1995 and together all three owners and their staff run the daily operations.

They continually strive to offer outstanding service and products to the Kansas City and surrounding communities. They believe that a reputation as an honest and reliable business is the recipe for success. While others seek to profit by cutting corners, or recommending unnecessary services to customers, the Dobson's believe that a great reputation and consistent service will reap loyal customers in the long run. Along with constant business growth.

John, Linda and Mark are all life long area residents, with deep business roots in the community. John's parents owned Dobson's Carpet, located near the Independence Square back in the 1950's and 60's before they moved on to retirement.

Linda's father has owned and operated Burnup Equipment Company, located on Sterling Ave. near Truman Road since 1953. At 90+ years "young", Mr. Burnup to this day, continues to oversee his company's daily operations.

WIth this much family history and proven business success to draw from, John, Linda and Mark have a clear understanding of what it takes to run a successful enterprise. Inheriting a unique insight and long standing business knowledge.
